Snowy 2.0 Project - $12B

Snowy 2.0 is an ambitious project encompassing a comprehensive program of works valued at $12 billion. With a workforce of 2,500 individuals, the project spans across four different locations and involves the management of 22 work fronts.

Activities included a strategic health and safety review with associated implementation plan of recommendations carried out post review which included:

  • Defining the client model
  • Developed a WHS Management Framework
  • Revised and improved the Health and Safety Risk register supported by a review of control effectiveness
  • Developed a risk-based Audit and Assurance MAP
  • Provision of draft contractual notices for high-risk issues
  • Support with implementing improved controls for high risks

COR Partners - The Switch

COR Partners is an operator of purpose-built housing (The Switch) specialising in community-based residential living across Student, Co-Living, Hybrid Hospitality, and Build-to-Rent sectors.

LHA conducted a strategic review of The Switch’s current position and compliance obligations. This assessment incorporated the areas of governance, risk profile, policy, management system, and standard operating processes. The objective was to identify any gaps and opportunities, as well as determine what is effective and necessary to support The Switch’s anticipated growth in the next 12-18 months.

Mott MacDonald - Sound Transit Integrated Program Management Team Bid

Sound Transit plan, build and operate express buses, light rail, and commuter train services for the central Puget Sound Region in Seattle, USA. Sound Transit is building the most ambitious transit expansion in the USA spending $54B US over 25 years.

LHA supported Mott MacDonald on their successful bid ($50m) to provide an integrated program management team to support Sound Transit’s West Seattle to Ballard Link Extension $3.2B program.

Snowy Hydro Generation​

Snowy Hydro has been generating on-demand, reliable energy for almost 70 years. They have 16 power stations with more than 5,500 MW of generating capacity across New South Wales, Victoria and South Australia.

The primary aim of the engagement with LHA was to offer recommendations and improvement opportunities by assessing specific aspects of health and safety management across Snowy Hydro.

These elements included:

  • Due Diligence assessment
  • Contractor Management framework
  • Risk Management review

Campus Living Villages - Griffith University Student Accomodation $120M​

Campus Living Villages (CLV) is one of the world’s leading providers of on-campus accommodation. CLV operate and manage 27,100 beds across 46 Villages in Australia, the UK and USA.

The objective of the scope was to support CLV in fulfilling its legislative responsibilities for Work Health and Safety and Environment as a client engaging a Principal Contractor for project delivery, specifically for the $120M build for Griffith University.
